LOVOW Privacy Policy

Keisuke Tomonaga ("we") handles information in the LOVOW app ("the app") as follows.
1. Information we collect

Usage analytics never include the text you write, your partner's name, or your photos. We do not collect advertising identifiers (such as IDFA).
If you don't create an account, your records are stored only on your device.
2. Sharing with your partner
You connect with a partner only when they accept your invite. Each connection has its own "space for two", and records are shared only between the two people in that space (one partner on the free plan, up to five with Premium). Records in your space with one person are never shown to another.
Only the records you chose to share in a space are shown to that partner. Records marked "Just me" are hidden from every partner, including the fact that they exist. For a "Surprise", they only learn that something is planned for them until you deliver it.
Your partner is not told when you report or block them. Only we read reports.
Premium can be used by the purchaser and the first person they connected with. That partner can therefore tell whether Premium is active (no other purchase details are shared).
3. Service providers
We use the following services to store and process information:
- Supabase (database, authentication, photo storage; stored in Japan (Tokyo))
- RevenueCat (subscription management)
- Google Firebase Analytics (usage analytics)
- Apple / Google (sign-in, in-app purchases, push notification delivery)
- Expo (push notification delivery)
- GitHub Pages (hosting the invitation page. Opening an invitation link or QR code sends the invitation string as part of the page address; it contains no personal information)
Each provider handles information under its own privacy policy.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We do not share personal information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law. We never sell your information.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep your records until you delete your account. You can delete your account and all your records at any time in the app under Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion happens right away and cannot be undone.
Records your partner wrote remain with your partner as their own records.

Connections are encrypted, and database access is restricted per user. Photos are stored in a private area and shown through short-lived links.
